A Message From The CEO
Announcement
Regarding our annual tournament in April 2026
Tournament CEO John Greig and the organizing group have had to make the unfortunate decision to POSTPONE this years tournament , For a few reasons. Lack of volunteer commitment, Lack of respect of some teams with no regards for the arena staff or the premises of the arenas in which games were played.
There was also the lack of team support for our tournament concessions which off set tournament cost ,The concession are a big part of our tournament operation.
The main reason was due to ice commitments, Here in Collingwood they told us that ice time may not be available and later told us there was none available, by then it was to late into the hockey season to move the tournament to another venue, Collingwood is hosting an event called Doctors on Ice were they are trying to persuade NEW Doctors to come and open a practice in our local communities. and the last time I checked eventually we are all going to need a Doctor.
We are working and planning our tournament for April of 2027 hopefully in Collingwood. But we are also searching for other Venues towns villages

Scott Pegelo - Tournament Statistician
Scott has been a big part of our tournament team since 2011. He has taken on the position of tournament Statistician for the past 10 plus years; this includes scheduling of games, keeping track of game scores and points in standings at our tournaments.
Scott is a very big part of our organization at Strathnairn St,Vincent Hockey Tournament.
Kim Chapman Klaassen-Social Media & Marketing
Kim has been with our tournament group for the past 13 years as game weekend assistance. Kim brings many talents to the organization and will now be handling our Social Media and marketing division. You will find Kim around the rinks with a camera in hand, ready to take photos and conduct interviews. Please be sure to say hi when you see her.
